CONCORD, N.C., February 7, 2006 —Walker Marketing, Advertising & Public Relations, Inc., a growing full service marketing communications firm, will expand its corporate offices by building a new facility in the International Business Park at Concord. The building is scheduled for completion in August.

The five year-old firm has grown out of its present facility and plans to expand its public relations and creative staff significantly once the building is finished

Projected to cost just over $1 million, the new facility for Walker Marketing will cover 6500 square feet. Barbara J. Walker Architecture, Inc., will occupy 1500 square feet in the same building, leaving 2000 square-feet for future expansion.

Phase II of the International Business Park at Concord is designed for Class A office and medical buildings. Located along the rapidly expanding Highway 73 and I-85 corridor just north of Charlotte, the Park offers I-85 frontage and easy access to uptown Charlotte, Ballantyne, Charlotte-Douglas International Airport and the North Carolina Research Campus in Kannapolis.
